Gluten Free Flour | OMGF!

Being diagnosed with Celiac Disease in June 2005 was hard. The abrupt lifestyle change, the cardboard pizza crusts and sand-textured breads were a difficult thing to swallow, literally. With a passion for food, I always wanted to prove people wrong when they said I would never eat a good pizza or a delicious sandwich again.

I was never aware that any type of wheat allergy existed until it struck my own family. In the early 90's my mother was the first to be diagnosed with Celiac disease. To add to that, shortly after my diagnoses another one of my five siblings discovered she, too, was a member of the celiac club. At the time of my mom's diagnoses, there were very few educational and edible resources available. We witnessed her having to turn every mealtime into a chore. All of us had to learn by trial and error which foods were edible, what brands had the 'closest to what we remember' taste, and which were downright disgusting. Something had to be done.

There are an estimated 2 million of us Celiacs out there, but it is still a personal and sometimes lonely struggle to figure out what to make for dinner. There are many people who after years of finding out that they can’t digest wheat or gluten, still have no idea what to eat! While personally dealing with the hardships of learning what to eat again, I have wanted nothing more than to help others who are dealing with the same issues.

These past few years, I have spent many meals researching and exploring food options. Finally, I'm proud to present gluten free all purpose flour mixes that are so close to what I used to enjoy that no food has been missed since. As a wife and a mother of three crazy boys, I now have four wheat-eating, in-house taste testers who actually enjoy eating gluten free.

I am so excited to share my creations with you. Regardless if you are eating a gluten free diet because of epilepsy, celiac disease, autism, wheat allergy, ADD, a neurological disorder, or just for health reasons, it all boils down to one thing: what to eat. We have all been searching for the same missing ingredient for too long: deliciosity.

Thank you for visiting our site. I hope these products and recipes will change your life as it has mine.

Have a delicious day,

Jessica Anderson
